Rules of play
ECBU will be played with the new BULA rules. Attached is the BULA addendum to the WFDF rules. We do not play with halves (BULA probably will remove this clause in the future)
Games format
13 points or 45 minutes
Cap +2 irrespective of the score.
Time outs: one per game (any time, including the last 5 minutes) plus one in the cap. Time out is 1 minute.
Open division format
8 open teams : Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland
2 masters team : France, Germany.
The 10 teams will play a round-robin from Friday to Sunday (3 games/day).
On Monday, the top 4 teams will play semis, then 3rd place or final.
The others will play one position game.
Total = 11 games for the top 4 teams, 10 games for the others.
The exact way of handling the 2 masters teams for the last day and final ranking will be announced tomorrow by BULA.
Mixed division format
7 teams : Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Spain, United European Islands (international team)
The teams will play a round robin from Friday to Sunday morning.
The team that finish #1 will go directly to the semi. the 6 others teams will play the quarters.
The round-robin #1 and the 3 quarter winners will play semis on Sunday afternoon and 3rd place or final on Monday.
The 3 quarter losers will play a round-robin to determine ranking #5 to #7.
Total = 9 games (except Round-robin #1 : 8 games).
